Currently IowaView is involved in the following areas of research.  

  • Water quality monitoring using hyperspectral images and LiDAR
  • Wetland mapping and Monitoring using Object oriented methods
  • Heat loss detection using thermal imageries
  • Tree Species identification using LIDAR and Hyperspectral images
  • West Nile Virus habitat analysis using remote sensing and GIS data
