The IowaView Consortium is composed of members of the state universities as well state government. Their mission is to increase the knowledge and use of remote sensing and other geospatial technologies for the benefit of the citizens of Iowa, through education, research and service. IowaView supports the collection and management of publicly accessible remote sensing data archives, including the Iowa Geographic Map Server and rest services. The IowaView Program is currently housed at Iowa State University (ISU) in Ames, Iowa at the ISU GIS Facility. The ISU GIS Facility maintains both a teaching lab and research lab in Durham Center and an additional teaching lab in the College of Design.
