The IowaView Consortium includes members of the state and private universities, K-12 teachers, state government, and the Iowa GIS community. IowaView’s mission is to increase the knowledge and use of remote sensing and geospatial technologies for the benefit of the citizens of Iowa, through education, research, and service. IowaView supports the management of publicly accessible remote sensing data archives, including the Iowa Geographic Map Server. IowaView is housed at Iowa State University (ISU) in Ames, Iowa, at the ISU GIS Facility in Durham Center. The ISU GIS Facility maintains a GIS teaching lab (Durham 248) and a GIS research lab (Durham 218).
